On the 6th, CTNS, a company specializing in the development and manufacturing of secondary battery packs located in Changwon City, signed a strategic business agreement with Pablo Aviation, a leading company in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and UAM integrated control services.

The signing ceremony, which took place at the Busan BEXCO Drone Show Korea event, was attended by key figures including Kwon Ki-jung, the representative of CTNS, and Kim Young-jun, the representative of Pablo Aviation. CTNS has agreed to collaborate on the development of battery packs for UAVs and to lead the market technology.

Pablo Aviation, established in 2018, is a leading company in the future unmanned aviation industry, focusing on UAV, autonomous swarm flight technology, and UAM integrated control systems. They are progressing with drone shows, drone delivery, commercialization of urban air mobility (UAM), and also expanding into the defense UAV business.

CTNS has been consistently supplying battery packs to many well-known robotics companies, conglomerates, and EV companies in Korea, holding a high market share in the secondary battery pack market.

Through this agreement, both companies plan to combine their accumulated technical know-how to cooperate on product technology development, discuss production efficiency and quality improvement, and pursue unrestricted cooperation and mutual technical support to enhance and commercialize the technology of drones and other UAVs.

Kwon Ki-jung, the representative of CTNS, stated, “As the demand for drones and other UAVs grows in the market, there is an emerging need for battery packs in the related fields. Through cooperation with Pablo Aviation, we will respond to global needs together, and we aim to set the global market standard beyond Korea.”
